This guide walks through the full NeonNow sign-up journey: subscribing through the AWS Marketplace, choosing a region, and creating your account, your first organisation and your first admin user. By the end you'll be able to sign in to the NeonNow Admin app and start setting up a product.

What this covers

Sign-up creates your NeonNow account and organisation. Once you're in, you set up the product you want to use — a contact centre in CX or campaigns in Outreach. See Set up a product at the end of this guide.

Before You Start

You'll need:

  • Access to the AWS Console for the AWS account you want to subscribe from.
  • A valid email address for the first admin user — you'll verify it with a code during sign-up.

You do not need any coding, AWS CLI or SDK experience to sign up.

Step 1: Subscribe Through the AWS Marketplace

NeonNow is a pay-as-you-go service billed through the AWS Marketplace, so usage appears as a line item on your AWS invoice.

  1. Sign in to the AWS Console for the AWS account you want to subscribe from.
  2. Open the Services menu and choose AWS Marketplace Subscriptions (or search for "Marketplace").
  3. Choose Discover products and search for NeonNow.
  4. Open the listing and choose View purchase options.
  5. Choose Subscribe. Once subscribed, choose Set up your account at the top right to launch the NeonNow sign-up wizard.
Already signed in?

If you previously signed in to the NeonNow Admin app with a different account, sign out first before setting up the new subscription.

One AWS account and region, one organisation

A single AWS account in a given region maps to one NeonNow organisation. You'd only have more than one subscription if you set up a separate organisation in a different region.

Step 2: Choose a Region

The first step in the wizard is to choose the region where your data will be stored. You can't change this after your organisation is set up, so choose the region closest to your users.

Select a region, then choose Begin Sign Up.

Available Regions

NeonNow organisations can be hosted in the following regions:

RegionLocationAWS region code
SydneyAustraliaap-southeast-2
OregonUnited States of Americaus-west-2
North VirginiaUnited States of Americaus-east-1
LondonUnited Kingdomeu-west-2

Your organisation is hosted in a single core region; there is currently no multi-region capability. All services within a region use multiple Availability Zones for resilience against localised data-centre failures. For more on how regions relate to your organisation, see Organisations.

Step 3: Create Your Organisation

Next, fill in the details about your organisation, including where you work and a point of contact we can reach out to. Choose Next Step when you're done.

The point of contact and organisation name can be changed later from Organisation Settings.

Step 4: Create Your First Admin User

On the next screen, create your first admin user. This account becomes the first Org Admin of the new organisation.

Provide:

  • Your name — your name is set here at sign-up (later invitations to other organisations won't ask for it again).
  • Email address — this is the email you'll sign in with. It can't be changed afterwards.
  • Password — used to sign in to the NeonNow Admin app.

Choose Next Step.

Step 5: Verify Your Email

Check the inbox for the email address you provided. You'll receive a verification email containing a 6-digit code (it may land in your spam folder).

  1. Enter the 6-digit code on the Verify Your Email screen.
  2. Choose Verify.

If the email doesn't arrive, you can request a new code from the same screen.

Once your email is verified, sign-up is complete. Your account, organisation and first Org Admin user now exist, and you can sign in to the NeonNow Admin app.

After Sign-Up

Once you're signed in, you can:

Set Up a Product

With your NeonNow account and organisation ready, the next step is to set up the product you want to use:

  • CX — set up a contact centre against your Amazon Connect instance, connect channels and configure your team. See the CX Getting Started guide.
  • Outreach — start sending bulk SMS and email campaigns. See the Outreach Getting Started guide.
